International University Liaison Indonesia (IULI) is a private university, established in 2014, which operates in Indonesia as the strategic partner of the European University Consortium – EUC coordinated by TU Ilmenau (Technische Universitaet Ilmenau), Germany.
Research, Technology and Innovation are the core reasons for initiating collaboration between International University Liaison Indonesia – IULI and currently 14 universities in European countries, with coordinators at Technische Universität Ilmenau in Germany.
The aim of the collaboration is to provide the best intellectuals in the fields of economics, politics and technology in Indonesia.

Dr. Joachim Wink as the Flying Faculty Lecturer from Germany holds lectures to Life Science Students
Dr. Joachim Wink will be at IULI for his Flying Faculty lectures for 2 weeks, between 15 – 26 of Oct 2018. He will be giving lectures on ‘Antibiotics’ for Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering and Food Technology Students.
Head of Aviation Engineering Study Program, Mr. Neno Ruseno, Visits Balai Besar Kalibrasi Fasilitas Penerbangan (BBKFP)
On Tuesday, 16th of October 2018, The Head of Aviation Engineering study program Mr. Neno Ruseno visited Balai Besar Kalibrasi Fasilitas Penerbangan (BBKFP) in Curug, Tangerang. It is a goverment agency that provides service to airport and air navigation provider on air navigation facility calibration both civilian and military. Scope of service include calibration, inspection, and testing equipment supporting air transport as a means of navigation, landing aids, radar and communication.
We were welcomed by Ir. I Nyoman Oka Yudarta, MFTT., the head of BBKFP. He showed us around their facilities including the aircrafts: Beechcraft King Air 200 and 350 series, Hawker Beechcraft 900 XP, Bombardier Lear Jet 31A and helicopter Bell 429; simulators: static and full motion simulators for Beechcraft King Air 200, the calibration equipment equipments.
From our conversation, there are a lot of possibilities for co-operation between Aviation Engineering IULI and BBKFP including student internship, usage of flight simulator, and research in area of air navigation calibration.
Dr. Joachim Wink Seminar on Novel Antibiotics Search from Actinobacteria
On Oct 18 2018, Dr. Joachim Wink gave a short seminar at IULI on the topic of “Actinobacteria Biodiversity as Resources for novel Antibiotics at the HZI”. In this short Talk Dr. Wink Explained why it is important to continuously search for new generations of antibiotics, and that the Actinobacteria biodiversity is one of the possible pathways to discover the new antibiotics.
Students from the Department of Food Technology, Chemical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering attended the short seminar. Among the participant were also IULI Lecturers, and researchers from the Research Center for Chemistry from the Indonesian Institute of Sciencs (LIPI).
Dr Wink is the Head of the Microbial Strain Collection Group at the Helmholtz Center for Infection Research in Braunschweig, Germany. The Seminar was attended by more than 50 participants.
