Another organization, Die Brücke in Jakarta, strengthens cultural exchange and supports kids and adolescents within the framework of donors and scholarships. The private sector was thoroughly involved during the Tsunami disaster in Aceh at the end of 2004, wherein an alliance of 45 German companies in Indonesia raised 5 million Euros and supported more than 30 projects, especially in the educational sector.
