On the 14th of June 2016, Studienkolleg Indonesia accepted 26 university students, who have passed the final qualification process (known as “Feststellungsprüfung”), to study in Germany. These students will enroll and commence their studies in the winter semester season 2016/2017.The number of interested students wanting to finish the Studienkolleg preparation program in Indonesia has increased immensely within the last few years. The reason for this development is the ability of the Studienkolleg Indonesia graduation certificate supports its holders in obtaining a letter of acceptance from German universities. Not to mention, Goethe Institut also supports students from its partner schools / PASCH (Partner Schulen) in applying a scholarship to study at the Studienkolleg Indonesia as well as continuing further studies in Germany.Stephanie Kartika, a graduate from the Studienkolleg program, has received a DAAD scholarship program. This program provides a scholarship to university students who study in German schools which are located outside of Germany. To successfully obtain the program, applicants compete closely with other candidates who come from all over the world. Furthermore, there is no national quota, hence, there is no limitation on the number of applicants from one country to participate in the program. Therefore, there would be a gratifying moment when a student passes the challenging selection process and successfully obtains a scholarship.
